The $1 Box at Bookplate

My local used book store THE BOOKPLATE right near Hornsby station on the OLD Pacific Highway has been clearing off shelves and topping up the $1 box ... actually two black plastic boxes placed outside the store. This week and last I've picked out a few old but promising crime and mystery books to share with my mother for only a dollar each!
If you're shopping in Hornsby on Thursday night or the weekend you might want to check out the boxes and see what else the staff have added to them! You may have to dig a bit but its also worth exploring for surprises and if there's nothing in the box do pop inside the store and tell them Scholara mentioned them? I dont get freebies for the PR and I havnt told them about this blog but it is pleasant to know that the blogging helps support a local business!
