Abbey's 2009 Book Sale
has started and runs until Sun June 28
and Galaxy is having its mid year sale too!
Here's other news from Sydney's book quarter.
Adyar is moved into the former Bible Society bookshop next to the Anglican Catherdral.
Ashwoods has moved to a new site between Abbey's and Galaxy.
We know have three major specialist stores in one block just across from Town Hall Rail Station and the QVB building and others within easy walking distance like Dymocks.
Borders however has closed its Skygarden store due to the Pit St Mall renovations.
This year due to the wet weather there's no upstairs balcony table at Abbeys.
Galaxy is following its usual system of sales books being both on the carpeted floor and tables. I was rather surprised to see Space Vulture on the specials table. I wouldnt have thought there'ld be too many surplus copies of that?
