APOLLODORUS


Looking for books on Greek mythology? The Oxford World's Classics series of translations from Oxford Universtiy Press includes a translation with notes by Robin Hard (1997) of Apollodorus ' Library. Loeb has a translation dating back to 1921 but this is more recent and a useful size and weight. As well as the notes there is an excellent bibliography and a list for further reading of book son Greek mythology.

It's a trnslation of a reference book not great literature but god and rightly wellknown cos it and the translation are written in clear accurate and coherent well organised prose!


A useful addition to the reference shelves of students and scholars of Classics and Greek Mythology. Enjoy!
