A Mythago Wood Novel

A new Mythago Wood novel is always a splendid joy to venture into and this 2009 novel is no exception. Tolkien once pointed out that for elves and the creatures of Faery tales about humans would take the place of fairy tales.

In the novel Avilion two half mythago - human children raised within Ryhope Wood must venture out from the safety of the valley and ghost of a Roman Villa they were raised in to the worlds beyond, ours, and others.

Jack Huxley must journey to the edge of the wood and reclaim and haunt his father's old home and Yssobel must seek her mother lost on a quest for vengance. Both have to come to terms with their dual parentage in relams where the dead can rise and the living became ghosts and Time is not linear.

ENJOY!
