DEAD in the Family
Charlaine Harris
Not having cable or digital TV it actually annoys me slightly that the library bought the version with the cover illo with the tv show actors.
I prefer the other version with the original artwork cover!
However fortunately and delightfully Harris' prose and plots continue to excel.
Sookie's extended family and problems currently include fairies in the bottom of the garden and the spare bedroom as cousin Claude has moved in and another cousin ... and then there's the vampires!
Eric's Roman maker has come for a visit with his mentally unstable teenage Russian "child".
Vampire Bill Compton is sick from silver poisoning and needs to reconnect with his vampire kin and his human descendants.
The local shifters and werewolf pack are being both help and hindrance.
Life in Bon Temps includes problems with the undead and much more!
Read Charlaine Harris instead of "Tweelight".
This is an excellent series that well deserves its success in sales for books and TV.
