Remember Kirby's Eternals? The Gaiman and Romita mini series updating these characters for the new century is also available as a graphic novel in hardcover. The original artwork looks even better in high quality cover. Romita's style captures that Kirbysque grandeur. The Celestials are awesome giants. The Deviants creepy yet pathetic.
Romita reworked Kirby's costume designs simplifying them in a way that is still elegant yet powerful and emphasizes that the Eternals are not quite as human as they seem.
The story line has solid sf elements.
Waht happens when a Eternal grows tired of immortality and changes reality to free themselves by making others forget their immortality too?
