FOLLY DU JOUR

a Joe Sandilands Mystery by Barbara Cleverly

This may alas be the last Joe Sandilands book out for a while?

The author is starting a new series with a boook out later this year called THE TOMB OF ZEUS and has not said whether or not she will be using this character and setting again.

The sereis started in India and two characters form earlier books return with a murder mystery set in Paris in the 1920s which Joe has to solve with help from his French friend and hindrance from French foes. There's fashion and assassins and apaches and appearances by historical characters Jospehine Baker and a famous French writer !

Delightfully Crafted with a perfectly twisted climax revealing the villian behind the scenes and the should we say pernicious effects of popular cultures.

Enjoy ! *****
