Most Venetians are trying to escape Venice as it endures a heat wave but Commissar Brunetti is called back from his holiday to deal with a murder and a fraud case as unpleasant as the summer humidity.

Enjoy Venice in summer ... from a safe cool place unlike Brunetti.

Why hasnt anyone tried to film these books?
