& The Typhoon Pact
Warning some spoilers for recent events in Star Trek media tie-in novels.
If you havnt picked up any Star Trek novels recently you may be in for a shock when you do.
The Destiny crossover has finally hopefully removed the Borg problem but left other writers and fans with "Mack's Mess".
SPOILERS
The Borg slaves have been liberated and the last traces of the Borg Queen program obliterated but the Federation and its allies the Klingons were badly hit by the Final Borg attack. The Romulans have split into two state nations one centred around Empress Donatra and the other around the Praetor Tal Aura. As the Klingons and Federations try to rehouse their refugees and rebuild minor events suggest something darker going on. One political adviser spots the pattern and realises a new alliance of powers is forming of enemies of the Federation and its allies.
The Borg may be gone but there's a new threat the Typhoon Pact!
All of this year's Star Trek novels will tie in to next year's Typhoon Pact sequence.
Trekkers can expect stormy weather on the horizon.!
