or Agatha and the Archaeologist

This is a paperback re-issue of Max Mallowan's Memoirs recounting his early education and experiences as an arachaeologist in Iraq and with his beloved wife Agatha Christie.

If your interest is Agatha Christie do read the chapters on archaeology as well! I especially recommend the descriptions of work on Assyrian sites.
