The Constituents of Medicinal Plants

July 25th 2011 05:30
The Constituents
of Medicinal Plants

an introduction to the chemistry
and therapeutics of herbal medicine

Andrew Pengelly
2004 Second edition.

Do not be put off by the long title! This is an excellent reference book!

I keep coming across references to it and was quite delighted to discover the library had purchased a copy.

You will need high school level chemistry to get the most benefit from reading it but if you have ever wondered which herbs work and why do read this!
