Mortal Remains is the Australian edition title for Spider Bones, Reichs' latest book about Temperance Brennan.

Offered a job in Hawaii and a double ticket Temperance takes along her daughter who's just lost a boyfriend to a Taliban attack and discovering she's been lent a whole house with beachfront access asks ex lover Ryan and his daughter to join them.

Combining work with pleasure isnt a good thing when the two girls loathe each other and a misidentified corpse of a Nam veteran turns out to have strange links with organised crime.
