Paris Hilton is NOT an Interesting person
but these woman writers are!
Paris Hilton is Not an interesting person and frankly a waste of media space. Instead of reading about Paris I suggest you read these woman writers instead!
This is a random medley off the top of my head!
Alice Walker: the prose essays!
Another Alice : Meynell a 19th century British poet.
Chiyo the the female haiku writer that I've blogged about before and the best most recent translation of her works is by a woman! Double Bonus.
Leigh Brackett and C.L. Moore. They started as "pulp" writers and inspired later writers like Andre Norton and Anne McCaffrey!
Other female SF&F writers like Octavia Butler, Ursula Le Guin, Zenna Henderson, and Barbara Hambly.
Finally last and definitely not least and much more interesting than Paris Hilton is C.J. CHERRYH.
The sequel to her famous classic CYTEEN is out in the USA and hopefully in Australia soon.
