Yes its a "literary" reteling of the Norse myths but its a good one!

Loki features as a major character and you get insight via the framing plot of the young girl encountering myths via reading a book on Norse myths with what might be called the fascination of "Northernness".

Read of the beginning and end of the gods and life.
