Have you read The Final Solution or any of William Hope Hodgson's Carnacki stories?
If so you'll enjoy this book.

I dont know if this is out in paperback yet but if you cnat afford the hardcover or your library hasnt got a copy I suggest you recommend it to them or wiat for the papaerback edition.
Yes its pastiche and a crossover but it's fun!
Oh and if you havnt read any of Hodgson Carnacki stories they are still in print and Project Gutenberg has them too and other of Hodgson's works!
