ATLAS of Remote Islands

June 1st 2011 10:41
Atlas of Remote Islands
Judith Schlansky

The Strangest geography book I have read this year. Maybe this whole decade. The author describes 50 islands that she or I will probably never set foot on in the farthest reaches of the Pacific or off the coast of Antarctica or Siberia.

The original German title was Atlas der abgelengenen inseln.

Wierdness to relish! Enjoy!
