The Rift Walker
Book Two of the Vampire Empire Trilogy
Clay and Susan Griffiths
What a fun series this is with a honorable vampire a spunky princess airship battles evil aristocrats both human and vampire and an ancient order of geomancers. Adventure Romance Action Alternate History and Vampires?
The war between Equatoria and the Northern Vampire Clans continues with Adele's growing geomantic abilites placing a new barrier between her and Prince Gareth. Meanwhile Flay is allying herself with certain humans.
Mamoru has found out Greyfriar is not human.
Sounds to complicated? Nope. I'ld classify this as a middle weight read but if you're fed up with "Vampire Romance" which is almost light porn or parody of the erotic horror genre or on the other hand gloom doom and darkness and continual angst and character torture to the point of where you're screaming get th bloody plot out of the bedroom or dungeon try this sequel to Greyfriar.
I know this is a cliche but really this series is a fresh breeze with its well crafting joining of steam punk / alt history with vampire romance!
