Apparently some of you like verse that ACTUALLY rhymes!
So I've reposted this in You Should Read!
It originally appeared in Scholia April 10 2007.
The poem was written August 20 1985

Seeing the HAWK
With frantic grace
the raptor's wings hold high place,
halting in space,
steady in their constant pace,
swirling, dancing, and displaying,
the artless art of high hovering,
waiting for rats to go rovering,
until her flight seems mere playing.
the raptor's wings hold high place,
halting in space,
steady in their constant pace,
swirling, dancing, and displaying,
the artless art of high hovering,
waiting for rats to go rovering,
until her flight seems mere playing.
Whether you read it the first time or not could you tell me why you found it of interest?
Thank You [/COLOR]
