This is a much read book if you're serious about learning about Minoyaki !
Be learned it is the kind of book you may only find at a college or university library. It is however worth hunting for. I accessed it via an inter library loan. If you're just looking for pictures there are a few excellent color plates at the fornt of the book but most of the photos are blakc and white. This book is one you read for the historical content and the technical info including pictures and diagrams of kilns and chemical analysis and a superb survey of the history of Setomono from the earliest Heian pieces up to the 19th century.
Many books on Mino foucs on the Momoyama period but this shows you the temmoku blow sof the Muromachi and the later ofuke and other wares.
A good book for someone studying or teaching wood fired ceramics to read.
Enjoy!
