R.B. Sheridan

The Critic by Sheridan is an 18th century parody and comedy looking at the taste for pageants and other cliches of theatrical performance and technique in the theatre scene of London. It is however surprising modern with a look at writers who add romance to history and other figures you''ll recognize.

You may have studied or read School for Scandal or The Rivals.
