Jim Butcher' Dresden Files is undoubtedly one of the best urban fantasy series of this decade and the previous! Harry clashes argues bickers and survives encounters with Faeries, (not the nice ones) Demons, (the Denarians are back) and Angels (Harry has a new arch-ally).
Owing a favor to a Faerie Queen when she's mab the Queen of Winter Air and Darkness is not a good thing especially when both her and her opposite Summer is sending gruffs hobs and worse after you and the Archive has been kidnapped, the Order of Denarius are trying to recruit Harry as a host for a demon or kill him, and worse ...
Harry survives battered and bruised but gains a new ally at the end of the book and finally gets a date and no its not Murphy! Though Murphy may have to learn sword play?
I've been waiting months forr the library to get this but its well worth the long wait to read!
Next year's Dresden book will be called Turn Coat and comes out in April 2009!
