Sweet Sorrow
David Roberts

A Murder mystery featuring Lord Edward Corinth and Verity Browne

It is 1939 and in the tenth book in this series Verity and Edward are trying to briefly enjoy rural village life in England before the inevitable outbreak of war.

Briefly for as mystery lovers know the English countryside can be a hotbed of seething jealousy envy hatred malice and much more.

A pretentious local poet and lecher gets beheaded and it seems whoever is responsible will not be stopping with one death.

Enjoy a visit to England!
