I dont know what the author of this series about a female P.I. living in the ficitonal town of Santa Teresa which appears to be partly modelled on an older smaller version of San Diego will do when she runs out of letters of the alphabet?
This time Kinsey has trouble close to home and literally next neighbour as she investigates a sociopathic "nures" who is scamming her neighbour the irascible Gus for money while also looking into a possible insurance fraud and other minor cases.
The same reliable simple but powerful prose takes you back to 1987 when there were no laptops and ironicially yet smooothly the her different cases and jobs end up effecting each other.
