Sheri Tepper is an accomplished experienced and skilled writer of science fiction or is it fantasy?
In her books realities physical and metaphysical often interact and metaphors along with morality become realities. I believe she is one of those writers whose works are complimented by the description of speculative fiction. She's famous for writing The Gate to Women's Country but I actually think GRASS is one of her best works.
This latest book is a masterpiece of plotting. She succeeds in blending the viewpoints and lives of seven different characters separating them from one original into different lives and timelines and then having those lives and timelines come together again without it being a confused irresolvable chaos.
You can walk seven roads at once.
To understand what this means and to meet the Gibbekots and Margaret and other characters, Naumi. Wilvia, Murgi and the Gardener, see if your library has this book. It's been out for a few months and with luck there should be a paperback out for xmas perhaps?
Enjoy!
