This bok is so popular that alothough it's able out for a while it's taken this long for me to move up the reservations list to read it. It is the second in the Rogue Agent series.
Gerald Mel Reg (former goddess and queen now a talking crow) and Monk and back joined by Monk's sister Bibbie.
Mel and Bibbie have set themselves up as problem solvers in a small agency and unfortunately for Gerald and Monk that causes their problems to combine and multiply since Gerald is investigating the same company. Whiel the girls are looking for the culprit in a series of petty thefts Gerlad is trying to find a traitor selling airship plans to a militant power.
They're together and in trouble again in a world where magic works ... more or less .
Which is not a good thing when Monk discovers an inter dimensional portal.
